TRIP DETAILS

Torre Fino, is one of the main summits of Nahuel Huapi National Park and Bariloche area.

Together with Mount Tronador and Torre Principal of Catedral it is one of the main that you can see from downtown Bariloche, from the Airport and from anywhere with open views.

This peak was first climbed by Otto Meilling in April of 1938 through the SW ridge (normal route) and just recently November 2021,  we opened the North Ridge with a bit more difficulty to provide to our clients with newer mountain adventures. The Ridge line is called “Fermin, El Guerrero”

After Guiding a summer in the Alps and seeing how many itineraries are along ridges, scrambles and aretes got inspired in replicating some of this nice adventures that clients enjoy so much.

EASIER CLIMB:
The Climb of this Tower by the SW ridge it is a one pitch climb of 5+ , then some ridge scrambling to the top. This is the easiest option.

NORTH RIDGE:
If you want a more demanding adventure we guide the North Ridge, what it is similar to a very small Matterhorn of 300 meters elevation gain only. You will deal with some scrambling, ridge navegation and one pitch of 5+ French grade. Takes around 3-4 hours to complete it.

You will need good stamina to complete the long day of 1300 meters elevation gain. The technical part it is only 300 meters of nice rock navigation.
