BEST SKI RESORTS OF LAKE DISTRICTS OF PATAGONIA
Skiing Slackcountry
TRIP DETAILS
One of the most complete ski trip we can do in the District Lakes of Argentina covering lots of ground and towns. A good combination, visiting the best three ski resorts of Argentina, combined with lots of sightseeing when you commute from town to town, doing 7 Lagos road and then drive back through the Patagonian Steppe .
The idea of this trip is to use the lifts to access good terrain and then a bit of short bootpacks, skinning if we decide to explore further.
We will ski Cerro Catedral Ski Resort in Bariloche , Chapelco in San Martin de los Andes and Cerro Bayo in Villa Angostura. All of them offer good skiing within resort to access good snow but we also go out and hike, explore and tour outbounds finding nice chutes, bowls , powder snow and specially get out of the crowds to feel some freshies underneath your feet.
Accomodation is planned in nice cozy hotels in the three stars range, we can always upgrade
